New Game - EGRESS
Ok so I haven't finished the last... but that's ok! Since 'Anna's Room' is associated with my uni masters project, I have certain limitations on what I can and can't work on in certain time periods. So long and short of it is, while I can't work on 'Anna's Room' I'll be working on... 'Egress: The Test of STS-417'!
So what is Egress? Well, it's a working title for starters. Anything else is a secret. Or maybe I'm just lazy... I'll let you decide. I will say that it will be an extremely short game of 3 basic puzzle screens with multiple endings, which is good for one main reason - it will get finished sooner than later! For now, enjoy this little teaser and be satisfied in knowing that it is: sci-fi, a little more mature, a bit horrific, and a bit disturbing... watch this space for more details and screens soon!

Intro Art
So here's a little piece of what I've been working on of late. This is to be the first in a series of pages to illustrate a mini back story to Anna's predicament as an intro to the game. Fear not, text and whatnot will come later. I've completed a few mini animations which I'm quite happy with, so maybe if I'm feeling generous I'll share them too. Or maybe I will keep them for the game and not reveal everything at once like I currently am tempted to do...

Moving Along...
So I haven't died yet, and neither has Anna's Room. On the contrary, I've finished a third room now, just about finished all the walk cycles, and worked out just about all of the kinks for the puzzle design. I just think this time I'll keep a few of the cards closer to my chest and reveal little pieces of the work over the next few weeks.
It should be said though that Red Dead Redemption is an extremely unhealthy addition to any developer's schedule.

Anna's Room Updated
So here's the product of the last week's work, and as you can see Anna's Room has had some major updates. I took out Anna so you can clearly see the glass reflections and whatnot. It's fitting much more into a finished look now and turning out better than I hoped.
I'm working on the inventory now and hope to get another room made, though it could end up that the puzzles are kept within the two rooms. I just want to get into programming it, dammit! Well, we will see I suppose...

New screen - Ground Floor
Alright, back to work now and here's a new room to give an idea of progress. Still some things to be added, but you get the idea at least. It's quite a stark difference from Anna's Room upstairs so I'll have an adjoining room soon and am in the middle of adjusting Anna's Room to help with the cohesion, particularly since this one shows some significant changes in style.
